What We Did:

In the past, users would sometimes forget to enter the required Location Code, leading to errors and unnecessary delays. To solve this, we implemented a system that automatically highlights required fields like Location Code with a red asterisk (*) and ensures they are completed before the order can be processed.

Here’s how we solved it:

• We modified the page extension for the Purchase Order Subform and Sales Order Subform to show the Location Code field as mandatory.
• By using the ShowMandatory = true property, the system now displays the red asterisk next to the Location Code field. This visual cue immediately informs the user that this field is required before proceeding.
• In addition, we ensured that a tooltip is provided, guiding users to select the correct location before they can post or release the order.

The Result:

This small but impactful change prevents users from missing critical fields like the Location Code and ensures smoother order processing, faster workflow, and error-free posting. No more frustrating error messages or unnecessary delays!
