Back in the year 2018, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Craig Ballantyne.
Our mission was to refine a $1000 offer that we were promoting through LinkedIn chats for my fitness business.
Among the key strategies I experimented with was the concept of weekly pricing.
While the information industry often leans towards monthly pricing and numbers that end with 7, I approached it from a different angle.
My view was that people are more concerned about the immediate amount they're paying today than the frequency of payments.
I set a target price of $1000 for pay in full.
This led to a payment plan of 15 installments of $100 each, totaling $1500.
By breaking it down to $100 a week for 15 weeks, the entry barrier was only $100.However, at the checkout, a delightful surprise awaited them – a $500 discount that brought the price down to $1000.
This approach yielded unexpected results.
Despite initial hesitations about cash flow challenges and budget limitations during our chat conversations, a remarkable 86% of people opted for the pay-in-full option.
The success of this approach was consistent across various tests and even with larger groups.
For instance, a fitness consulting client enrolled 73 gym members in their program, and only 4 didn't complete payments over 20 weeks.
I've taken this strategy further by testing it with higher weekly prices, even up to $1000.
The outcome has been consistently positive – more affirmative responses, more pay-in-full choices, and more committed clients.
A fantastic structure for a typical information offer could be $300 a week for 52 weeks, with an 4-week love it or leave it period.

At the checkout, there's a significant $5600 discount incentive for those who choose to pay in full, which is offered as a split payment.
In my experience, this approach resulted in a 60% pay-in-full rate across 67 new members who embraced this structure.
And through further testing with other clients, I've discovered additional effective strategies to enhance cash collection, double conversion rates, and even convert 50% of clients who had initially declined an offer.
These small adjustments can lead to significant enhancements in the performance of an existing offer.
