Common inspection pitfalls many buyers don't avoid.....
1. They rely on their handyman relative to do their inspection.
2. The house is new; they skip the home inspection step.
3. They don't attend the inspection, because their realtor will be there.
4. They don't read the inspection report and are just happy that an inspection was done.
5. They don't investigate incomplete sections of the inspection report assuming they were omitted for a good reason.
6. They don't read the inspection report, because they felt the inspector's verbal comments covered it.
7. They were very busy with the whole purchase and moving process and felt they would have more time and do a better job absorbing the report findings after they moved in.
