Initiating strides toward a more inclusive workplace is a paramount commitment for any organisation. At AVIV, we take immense pride in upholding this dedication. While we acknowledge that diversity already forms a cornerstone of our company culture, we also recognize that Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) represents an ongoing journey, demanding relentless dedication for continual growth and enhancement. From the Executive Committee to every team member, we are steadfast in our pursuit of continuous learning and evolution in this pivotal realm.

Central to our mission is the structural removal of bias and the seamless integration of inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle. This commitment sees us actively infusing D&I considerations into recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and professional development processes from inception. Our goal is to foster an environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to contribute their best.

Moreover, we acknowledge the imperative of fostering a sense of belonging and support across all communities within our organisation. To this end, we've instituted employee-led inclusion networks aimed at raising awareness and understanding while supporting and celebrating progress within our communities. These networks serve as bastions of support, empowerment, and advocacy for various groups, including those championing gender balance, LGBTQIA+ rights, and the rights of individuals with disabilities.

Furthermore, our commitment to progress is underpinned by both qualitative and quantitative metrics, enabling us to discern areas of improvement and uphold accountability in our D&I endeavours. We understand that fostering a psychologically safe and inclusive work environment necessitates robust support for the mental well-being of our employees. Therefore, initiatives geared towards bolstering mental wellness are integral to our overarching mission.

Setting tangible targets, we aim to achieve 40% representation of women in managerial roles by 2026, emblematic of our dedication to gender equality and diversity in leadership. Beyond mere bias elimination, our initiatives encompass comprehensive guidelines to accommodate individuals with disabilities, ensuring true accessibility and support for all within our workplace.

As we journey forward, we remain committed to listening, learning, and taking decisive action to drive positive change. We recognize that building a genuinely inclusive workplace demands collective effort and unwavering commitment from every member of our organisation.
