Committed to Sustainable Development Goal 7

At Vicinay Marine Innovación and, in accordance with our Corporate Social Responsibility, we are committed to Sustainable Development Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy, working on projects and services to drive the shift towards Marine Renewable Energies.

The design and manufacture of components for mooring lines adapted for offshore wind energy to support clean energies has been at the centre of our strategic commitment to our environmental goals for several years at Vicinay. By applying new technologies and materials, aligned with European goals to mitigate the global climate change, we have made important strides towards a more sustainable future.

To achieve this purpose, Vicinay Marine Innovación has defined objectives and indicators aimed at the research and development of marine renewable energy projects designating a large part of our resources to this sector as well as improving the training of researchers in this area.
