Committed to making the Energy Transition in Transport & Logistics a reality
In December 2019, during the French Maritime Economy Conference, I announced the creation of the Coalition for the Energy of the Future: a unique initiative supported by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Its #ambition is clear: to accelerate, by bringing together major industry leaders from different sectors, the development of future #energy sources and #technologies to sustain new #GreenMobility models in the #transport and #logistics industry by reducing emissions, fighting #GlobalWarming and protecting #biodiversity.
One year after the inception of this Coalition, 14 global companies are now committed to making the #EnergyTransition in #transport & #logistics a reality. Today, three new members Airbus, Bureau Veritas and PSA Internationl Pte Ltd are joining Amazon Web Services, Carrefour, Cluster Maritime fran?ais, Crédit Agricole CIB, Engie, Faurecia, Michelin, Schneider Electric, Total and W?rtsil? in building tomorrow’s sustainable #transport and #logistics.
2021 will be a structuring year for the Coalition, marked by key milestones with the development of 7 challenging & concrete projects. Our ambition is high. Either it is about #GreenHydrogen, #Biofuel, carbon neutral #LNG, #GreenElectricity, 0 emission vehicles for road, air and sea transportation, digital eco-calculator of the global #TransportChain, or intermodal #GreenHubs, we’re acting now to develop innovative solutions.
The crises we’ve experienced last year shows the fragility of the current world and the urgency to #ActForOurPlanet. Our responsibility as industry leaders is to create the conditions of renewed economic exchanges: this is why the #EnergyTransition has never been so crucial and I am confident in our ability to take up this challenge.

4 年We intervene in the field of transport in particular the practice of the bicycle through a project "Un eleve Un Velo" the objective is to encourage the schoolchildren the practice of the bicycle as a means of transport. A project that needs funding to grant bikes to students from poor families in Mali. Rodolphe SAADE
