Risk & Security Management (RS) is committed to the ongoing training and development of its people who are an important part of achieving our corporate strategic goals. With a dedicated Risk & Governance Department (which incorporates our Compliance and Human Resources teams), and an efficient on-line learning platform, we are able to ensure our people receive the best possible training and support.
We also understand that the way that individuals receive, process and retain knowledge during learning varies.?Accordingly, training is conducted through methods which include cognitive, social and experiential methods. Upon induction and prior to managing active jobs, our team are required to complete a series of training modules.?This is a cognitive approach and consists of training material that is issued via our Internal Learning Management System and also provided by an external party and includes assessment.?The modules issued include topics such as:
Specific role based and on the field training includes modules surrounding the following topics:

Social learning and experiential learning include on the job-training, mentoring, shadowing, role playing and performance monitoring and feedback.?The topics are again focused around the above but there is also a specific focus on policies, procedures, compliance, processes and live job management. Regular refresher training is also provided.?
