The title says it all.
I have had the privilege of knowing many individuals during the course of my lifetime. And the one thing that I have noticed are those that exercise just an average level of commitment in whatever they were pursuing, then they received an average result in that area.
My father, rest his soul, was 100% committed to doing his absolute best for his customers and his employees. I vividly recall many of his customers would speak highly of him years later. And that quality became a foundation of my life that carries on to this day.
Those that are highly committed to that goal will not quit until the goal is achieved. They know that this is within their grasp, that this is what they were put here to achieve, that no matter the problems encountered during the journey, they will not quit.
Take for example a person that wants to hike the entire Appalachian Trail. They can do it in one trip, averaging 15 miles/day for 6 months. Or they can do sections of it over years. Both are committed to the goal. Those that are not committed will not complete the journey either way. They find any reason is good enough to move to something else that doesn’t take commitment.
So make it your first priority to be totally committed to your goals, dreams, and aspirations. Start by focusing your energy towards that goal. Act on achievement every day.
Never quit.
