?? Ben Frow reveals insight into C5 commissioning
As director of programmes, Ben Frow oversees all UK output for Paramount UK.
From 12 March, C5 and its catch-up platform My5 will relaunch under the name 5, with the ambition to unite its linear and streaming platforms under one banner.
Speaking to our sister company Broadcast, Frow said: “My job is to protect linear, propel streaming and, in my mind, utilise digital as the most cost-effective way of supporting both”.?
He argues that placing greater emphasis on the 5 streaming service will “potentially open ourselves up as a cupboard of goodies to millions of people [that might be surprised at what C5 has to offer]”.
