?? Disney's Craig Erwich's programming strategy unpacked

Craig Erwich heads up the original programming strategy for Disney’s broad stable of channels: ABC, Hulu, Freeform and Disney – including Disney+.?

Speaking recently at the Television Critics Association, Erwich said that the boundaries between streaming and linear programming are thinner than ever.?

“I had one resolution this year, and it’s to get people thinking differently on this topic. It’s not one versus the other. Versus implies an opposition or comparison. These are complementary platforms which reach two very different types of viewers and they’re non-duplicative.”

The BBC is inviting UK producers to pitch for the opportunity to produce two new series of the pre-school, live-action series Balamory, which was originally produced by CBBC Scotland between 2002-2005.
