Commercial Tyre Waste - #WhyLandfill?

I am well and truly amazed! #why is it when we #talk about, and #see #excessive amounts of #tyres and #waste #products going to #landfill we are horrified that this actually happens and do not like it, but what are businesses really doing about it? 

#Tellme: #why is it that more / 'all' commercial businesses are not using retread tyres? 

#Safety...........well that cant be one of them because of course they're safe, they're tried and tested and on the road!! 

#Cost ........... well that cant be one either, because they can cost the equivalent if not less than new tyres + results show they reduce vehicle emissions and save fuel. 

So please, you tell me #why would a business not use #retread #tyres? 

Maybe it's #abouttime all businesses started to look at the various options of retread tyres and yes, alongside new, as if we didn't use new, we wouldn't have retreads, to #balance their #fleet and #reduce valuable waste casings going to landfill ------ #gogreen.
