I’ve been with Transwestern for 25 years, and I’ve been in commercial real estate for more than 30 years. My time in this industry has taught me that at its core, commercial real estate is about people. Transwestern’s purpose as a company is empowering good people to do extraordinary things together.

On February 1, 2018, Transwestern and our consulting affiliate Delta Associates hosted the 21st annual TrendLines, an event offering extensive insight on the Washington, D.C., metro area economy and commercial real estate market and identifying MegaTrends that will shape 2018 and beyond. This year we were proud to honor Jodie McLean, CEO of EDENS, and Jair Lynch, President and CEO of Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, as 2018 TrendSetters of the Year.

Jodie and Jair have demonstrated exceptional leadership in creating dynamic gathering places that bring people together to create communities, like EDENS’ Union Market – a revitalized 200-year-old food market where businesses now scale and grow – and Jair Lynch’s 1250 – a 460,000-square-foot mixed-use project across the street from Nationals Park.
