The Commercial Edit is here.
Today is a proud day for me and a special day for the ArchiPro team and community as we add to our digital portfolio and launch The Commercial Edit, a fresh new in-depth publication for the commercial design and construction sector in New Zealand.
This publication has been a long time in the making, and as we launch it today in the midst of the pandemic its value and meaning is underscored more than we could have imagined.
When we first launched ArchiPro, our aim was to innovate; to streamline the industry and help a fragmented sector do business in a new way. We’ve worked extremely hard over the years to push boundaries and deliver innovative solutions to the design and building sectors.
So far, we’ve helped millions of people associated with Kiwi design and construction businesses streamline their methodology. We’ve brought thousands of businesses online, giving them the opportunity to get in front of their target audiences and drive their revenue and market share at a fraction of the cost of more traditional methods. In the process, we have built a community of the country’s best - a network of innovators and forward-thinkers. Together, we are shaping the future of our built environment.
For consumers, we’ve delivered the country’s most trusted source of information - professionals products and projects - the all-in-one solution for anyone wanting to build or renovate.
Until recently, our main focus was on the residential sector. Now, we’re moving in leaps and bounds to achieve the same successes for businesses operating in the commercial space, and deliver the same wealth of knowledge and trusted products and professionals for the community working in this space.
Our built environment exists as a narrative of time and place - a vital part of our culture and identity, with the wider sector a key economic driver in New Zealand and globally. The communication of architecture and construction drives creativity, collaboration and innovation, paving the way towards a better future.
The in-depth and independent communication of our sectors is an essential part of the development of the industry as a whole, not just to publicise individual projects or products but to extend its value as an entity, and to inform, to improve and to drive inspiration and collaboration.
Digital media plays a vital role in the dissemination of information, of collaboration and of inspiration. Media consumption now relies almost exclusively on the digital environment, and within that it is vital that independent, industry-driven publications remain at the fore.
It is in this context that we developed The Commercial Edit, which will become a key part of our mission to help simplify the end-to-end building process while supporting, celebrating and empowering the architecture, design and building industries in New Zealand.
The Commercial Edit is a quarterly publication that brings you all the latest architectural and construction news from around New Zealand, providing insider knowledge, features and trends, awards, commentary, reviews of the latest buildings, and more.
This, our newest publication, represents the next step in our mission to provide the most empowering representation of New Zealand architecture as part of our all-in-one platform for anyone wanting to design or build in New Zealand.
The Commercial Edit will define the commercial and civic sectors, providing coverage of the latest developments and highlighting the country’s best projects - buildings that do and will define New Zealand architecture for generations to come.
The inaugural issue includes coverage of Commercial Bay and the PWC Centre, one of the country’s largest commercial projects for decades, a look at a landmark Auckland project that represents a key step forward in the design of higher density developments, and a central Christchurch building that reflects the historic Christchurch Cathedral that stands adjacent.
