My client…is a fast growing business events company specialising in the fascinating and booming world of commodities & energy trading, due to a successful 2021 & record breaking 22’ so far a role has arisen for a Commercial Leader to head up the sponsorship sales side of the business, managing 2 UK & 1 US sales reps, the team works in the main remotely (despite a London office) & gathers around 35,000 professionals from across the globe each year to their in-person and online events, as well as industry content hubs and ongoing webinars to provide year-round engagement.

Overview

The role requires a dual leader/sales professional with an interest or experience within the Energy or Financial Services space, hands on management required of 3 sponsorship professionals who sell sponsorship and partnership packages to a range of top vendor company prospects across the US & Europe, you will lead from the front, work on key accounts whilst working on key strategies within the business to help them grow to the next level. Ideally you will have expertise in working with young & vibrant businesses & successful sales teams.

The role will involve travelling from time to time to our head office in London, and to other international events and meetings.

Your Expérience

  • You have at least 5+ years of event sales management experience
  • Evidence of a successful track record in sales coaching & creating high-achieving sales teams
  • Sponsorship sales background
