My client ?delivers outstanding event experiences across the globe working with clients across multiple markets bring their event ideas to life with expertise in all areas of event delivery from the creative to the operational becoming an international communications business, creating and executing campaigns at a senior level and facilitating partnerships to deliver high level events, through global partnerships a full-time role has been created for a Commercial Director.

The client does have strong links to the Middle East region. This gives them a unique position to be able to identify event opportunities between the region and international markets and to create partnerships to deliver these

The Role and Responsibilities

We require an experienced individual to lead the business development and customer facing side of our business. You will be responsible for the acquisition of new business opportunities as well as the development of opportunities with the Group’s existing client base. Responsibilities include:

-?????????Winning B2B event business from Clients e.g., Ministries, through direct engagement or via RFP process, then overseeing delivery via our own team and third parties

-?????????Identifying partnership deal opportunities between international organisers and KSA Ministries, negotiating to close and then ensuring relationship management to delivery

-?????????Winning credible Partners for our own event concepts

-?????????Developing and mentoring a business development team

-?????????Developing a methodology for winning business

-?????????Ensuring revenue goals are achieved

-?????????Working closely with the delivery team

-?????????Acting as a public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile

-?????????Business travel, especially to the Middle East, as required
