Commendable Job by Uttarakhand Police

A small experience which speaks volume about the Vision, Mission and Core Values of Uttarakhand Police.

While on an Uttarakhand (India) pilgrimage journey a family member of mine active in public service lost his iPhone which of-course had very valuable data in it and left the family restless because of the incident. Though I am based out of USA, Incidentally I was visiting India when I sought help from Uttarakhand police in this matter and met the top officials and leadership seeking help to expedite, I am amazed to see how relentlessly they pursued the case and cracked the case without any delay. It was duly retrieved and handed over to me. Such a swift action speaks volume about the UK Police's Mission, Core Values and Vision.

I am really impressed by Director General of Police (UK) Ashok Kumar for his leadership as he is the real force behind this Uttarakhand Police's excellent professionalism and commitment towards the public service. UK Police's level of commitment towards public service is commendable. I am proud and happy with the support received from UK police. Team was very prompt in communicating the updates in the matter and acted as an efficient organization. Proud to be a citizen of this land protected by such a professional force.
