."COMITLA" has been started by IPS Officer Dr,Krishnamurthy Retd DGP Kerala,. enterprising Man with view to provide peaceful comfortable and dignified retirement homes for senior citizens. This is meant for retired people, or retiring shortly and deciding to settle or those who want a relocation. To those who want to be on their own, where one can decide on their own choice of food, timings etc (unlike as in assisted homes) this will be ideal. This is meant for like minded people or a group of friends and relatives, in the same wavelength,who are comfortable to stay with each other. While it takes care of the depression and boredom in old age, the security one gets from the mutual concern is very heartening. Also for the children far away to know that their parents are enjoying thier old age the way they have lived so far independently. So we have decided to have a gated community living for such people, groups or 15/20 families.The concept works around a type of assisted care living, wherein all key facilities like medical, nursing, security and help with paying bills, etc, are aided by the retirement homes.“It’s not an old-age home where people are left out of desperation. Here we ourselves come out of sheer willingness to live in a healthy environment, where organic food is served and meditation and yoga is practicedRetired couple who are also planning such a stay as their children are settled abroad.”Retirement condominium in Bangalore,&.Mysore The present project is an exclusive residential area, beautifully landscaped with all amenities, located at Bangalore & Mysore, Karnataka.The cottages are 1000 sq ft, 2 BHK in 2000 sq ft land will be registered in the buyers name at the first instance. There is a common garden area, a walkway, a small hall with a kitchen on one side and a caretakers room. There are 2 bedrooms on top of the hall. This is meant for the guests of any resident if they want accommodation. These common facilities will be under tenancy in common. the cottages are comfortably close, at the same time adequately private. The services of a renowned higher end hospital is tied up where in a doctor will make a call every week or fortnight as per the wish of the residents and an ambulance facility on call in case of emergency.The kitchen on facility in the hall on one end (apart from the kitchen in the cottage) can be made use for common cooking by the residents if they wish so. The hall is meant for satsangs, discourses, reading, recreation, get togethers and parties. A caretaker, gardener, cleaning personnel will be paid by the community as normally done in apartments.The present project consists of 20 cottages, . This group prefers people who are religiously inclined, who are interested in participating in satsangs, literature, culture etc. People who love simple living but of course good everyday living standards.We also invite small groups like cards groups, service oriented groups and groups who are interested in travel. We are restricting each gated community to 6/8 cottages so as to ensure smooth running as well as have adequate company. The time of completion will be 18 months after the target community number is finalized.Parallely we are developing a luxury home with assisted home facilities like, common food arrangement, recreation hall, dispensary etc. with 50 units. This will involve a payment of fixed amount for maintenance and food charges.
