On October 7th, 2023 I finished the most important I have read in 2023. Although I was very excited to share this with the world, my excitement got blown away by atrocities occurring that day. So, I put the book "The Coming Wave: Technology, Power, and the Twenty-First Century's Greatest Dilemma" by Mustafa Suleyman back in my bookshelf. Until yesterday when a dear friend came over and we had one of our regular and many philosophical discussions about tech and AI. So, I ran to my bookshelf and gave him this work to read himself.

My friend and I even tumbled down the rabbit hole of discussion if AI could not just cause for more wars and conflicts, but flipped it upside down and argued they could help reduce poverty and create independence for oppressed people. And, therefore reduce geopolitical conflicts and wars. So, I have decided the time has come to post this book review. I do want to warn you that if you are not in a positive state-of-mind right now, buy the book and put it away until your state-of-mind changes, as it does not only demand of you to stretch your mind, it does not only project positive outcomes for the future due to the fast pace of the waves of technology washing over society!

It has the potential (understatement) to revolutionize every aspect of our lives, from the way we work to the way we interact with the world around us. However, AI also poses a number of serious challenges.
