Coming Together to Advance Digital Health
In the US, the Thanksgiving holiday will be celebrated later this month, giving many a chance to come together and celebrate with friends and family. Here at ActiGraph, this time of year inspired us to reflect on the meaningful connections we've made within the digital health community. We're grateful for the collaborative efforts of those dedicated to advancing clinical research.
In this issue, we spotlight the valuable insights gained and the exciting new opportunities that have emerged from our recent interactions. Plus, we provide details on upcoming events where we can continue to come together and push the boundaries of digital health innovation.
Navigating the FDA DHT Guidance
Read a summary of the key discussion points from our recent webinar that brought together industry stakeholders to share perspectives from regulators, drug developers, digital health advocates, and technology vendors on the impact of the FDA DHT guidance.
Vital Sign Monitoring Using Wearable PPG Technology: From Principle to Validation
Learn more about the steps taken to develop and validate cardiac measures such as heart rate and heart rate variability that can be captured using multisensor wearable devices such as the ActiGraph LEAP, which was developed through a productive partnership with Swiss technology innovation center, CSEM .
New Patient-Focused Digital Measures Reports
These new reports include neurology indications causing muscle weakness or motor symptoms that disrupt physical functioning and mobility. However, each condition is unique, and symptoms can negatively impact patient's daily lives in various ways, including breathing difficulties, sleep disturbances, and experiencing pain.
Visit the full library to access the reports that leverage information from the FDA's Voice of the Patient series, and learn how DHTs can track and measures aspects of health that are meaningful to patients.
ADDS 2025 - Agenda Now Available
We could not be more excited to meet in-person with digital health experts at the upcoming ActiGraph Digital Data Summit 2025. This year's agenda includes an ALS Preconference Workshop and Mini Symposium, Physical Activity, Mobility and Cohort Studies sessions as well as a Scientific Poster Session and networking opportunities to give attendees plenty of time to connect and collaborate to cross the chasm to broader adoption of DHTs in clinical trials.
We hope you can join us February 10-12, 2025 in Pensacola Beach, FL!
ActiGraph and Indivi Announce Partnership to Advance Precision Neuroscience Trials
This strategic partnership brings together expertise in both passive and active remote digital measurement to address a large unmet need in neurology drug development – measurement precision. We're thrilled to work with Indivi , enabling researchers to gain a more precise understanding of patient functioning by capturing patient-centric, low burden measures in clinical trials of Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementias.
