Pennell Hart's: Women in Compliance networking group was founded back in 2023, when we published weekly Q&A's with key female leaders working in compliance here in the UAE. This initiative offered a platform for compliance professionals to get their message out there - that compliant and ethical conduct is very much at the top of the business agenda here in the region.
Since our initial launch, we have held regular networking events where we discuss the key issues that are keeping compliance professionals up at night. These events offer a great opportunity for those in the industry to share their ideas and observations in an open and supportive environment.
As the name suggests, unfortunately this forum is not open to everyone. But we don't want those who can't attend to miss out on all the fun. Through our weekly, "Secrets from Inside the Industry" posts, we will share some answers to questions we ask our members in attendance. We hope these give some insights into the inner thought processes of those leading the charge for compliance here in the UAE.
