To our Genova family and valued customers,

As we move forward in the recovery process following Hurricane Helene, I want to express my gratitude for your patience, trust, and continued support. I’m incredibly proud of the resilience and dedication of our team as we work to restore full operations here in Asheville.

Over the past week, we’ve made significant progress:

• Our lab is operational, and systems have remained stable. We're actively processing and releasing a large number of accessioned orders.
• We're continuing to monitor power while running on generators and expect our customer service phone lines to be back up by tomorrow morning. Some of our staff is still without power so please bear with us as we may have longer than usual wait times.
• Our team has worked tirelessly to manage supplies and ensure all samples are handled with the utmost care. We’ve increased our freezer capacity and are closely watching sample stability to guarantee accurate results for your patients.

As we continue this recovery, please know that we are applying conservative standards to ensure the validity of all test results. If a sample falls outside of stability guidelines, we will issue a new collection pack to patients automatically to get the recollection process started quickly.

We remain committed to supporting our Western North Carolina community, which is still facing ongoing challenges. Our team is doing everything we can to help both our customers and our neighbors in need.
