They Are Coming After Business Coaches

I hate doom and gloom articles, but the pattern is real. Business coaches and mentors are under attack from the Payment industry.
According to my sources, and I had to start making calls to see if anyone else was seeing this, but business coaches that used pay-as-you-go style accounts (things like Stripe, Square, Paypal, etc.) were eiether having monies held or had their accounts flat suspended or turned off.
That I am not shocked by. I know two companies that have had in excess of $250,000 held by groups like these with little to no explanation. Now I don;t know about you, but a quarter million might hamper me making payroll. Some people would be flat shut down.
Unfortunately, coaches and mentors get lumped with anyone who now claims to be an expert in this field. My old joke is that any Shift Change manager at Arby's can read a book and watch a couple of Alex Hormozi videos and decide that they are now a 'business coach'. Sadly though these few have no skills or experience, they can write some good copy and get people to pony up $2,000-5,000 only to get into the "classes" and realize they jokers don't know squat.

This damages all the legitimate men and women out there who have been in the game for decades and can really get you on some good paths. My own mentor, Jason Miller, from the Strategic Advisor Board, pulled me and my business by the eyelids into the 21st century. Under Jason, I had my first 10x month (pronounced "DAMN!"), and would willingly later go on to sign a 10-year agreement with him as he only adds value. That is a real person. He brings real insight to the table.
I don't do a lot of prop-ups, but Jason gives away part of his best-selling library. I am going to get permission from him and offer you a free copy of his book. It's only a bestseller, but then the is the real deal. Tell him I said, "Hi".

2 个月There seems to be a lot of people think that they are a business coach and they are not.. Just because you were good at your job for twenty years doesnt mean you should be a coach for buiness owners. There seems to be a surge in business coaches and I could see some people wanting their money back if the coaching was subpar. People should check out coaches before they engage with them or sign a contract. People need to be more cautious when searching for coaches and then find out if their business experience is aligned with yours. They charge alot of money for opinion rather than experience.. Just a comment on this whole coaching industry..
