Comedy, Company Culture, and Taming Your Ego

Comedy, Company Culture, and Taming Your Ego

Ego is sometimes our biggest weakness.

A strong ego can help you be the boss baby that you've always wanted to be, but where is the line between healthy confidence and self obsession...and what's the harm of being "too into yourself?"

A lot, actually. An overwhelming sense?of self will?forego the needs of others; leaving?a trail of ruined relationships in your wake.?It's not sustainable?and sooner or later you'll be fresh out of connections. And good luck learning from your mistakes when you constantly blame others for your own failures.

So flick that chip off your shoulder and remember?that we all equally deserve the bounties of?this spinning?space rock.

"Check your ego at the door. The ego can be the great success inhibitor. It can kill opportunities, and it can kill success." -Dwayne Johnson
