Come on Texas #EndTheStreakTX
There has been a fatality on Texas roads every single day for the last 20 years. Sadly, that’s a streak that goes back to November 7, 2000. Every year, around this date, TxDOT campaigns to end the streak.
So far this year in North Texas, 409 people have died. That number includes Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties.
TxDOT reminds all drivers:
- Drive sober
- Stay off your phone
- Don’t speed
- Wear your seatbelt
Fatal accidents are impacting too many families, so please be responsible on the road, and let’s end the streak!
