Come To The Table

Have you ever had moments in your life filled with such clarity, I mean macro focus, including the most intricate details? Then on the other hand, had times where you struggled to even see, therefore lacking direction & detail? Talk about one extreme to the other! How does one change and go from confusion to clarity? What keeps us from clarity? Why do we continue to try to look through dirty lenses thinking we will eventually see? Insanity right? Doing the same thing over and over again though expecting a different result!

Would you rather look through a camera lens or a pair of smudged, foggy glasses? I think the answer there is obvious to us all! So, how do you get there, to that crystal clear picture? Through a process of course, with a plan! For some it’s a faster process than others, for we are each unique individuals. First thing is to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! You are AWESOME, FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE....CLAIM IT WITH A SMILE!! The EASY part is the 1st step! Conquering it will give you the perseverance, strength, will and determination to continue on your journey towards CLARITY!

Warning ?? Warning ?? these next words being used and steps to take might be quite alarming and out of your comfort zone!! Remember your desire is clarity, end result is crystal clear pathway! Keep going back to that last sentence, again and again and AGAIN! Submission & Obedience....easy right? Total piece of cake ??! Surrender to GOD and be obedient to HIM, that’s what I am referring to. Submission will put you right in the center of GOD’S WILL. That’s exactly where HE wants ALL of HIS CHILDREN. HE promises us, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you” Psalm 32:8. I don’t know about you, but when I know the one who CREATED the heavens & earth, light & darkness, all creatures & mankind,..... I want HIM on my side!! I want HIM guiding me, teaching me! HE obviously knows how to get things done in a timely fashion, no procrastination there!! Let me K.I.S.S. you and say, “Do you want to go AGAINST the ONE who CREATED EVERYTHING & in a second can CHANGE EVERYTHING?” I’m just saying! I don’t know about you, but I am joining this party willfully, pulling up my chair to the table. Pull up yours too!

Like the last supper, JESUS disciples all gathered around the table for meal and conversation. This isn’t your last supper though, this is the first supper and as an active server!! How you partake in the festivities will determine how many future gatherings at the table you will have. Let the fun begin! Ready to starting adding your contributory dish/dishes to the meal? GREAT! First call, the dish of SURRENDER. What area or areas in your life have you not surrendered to GOD? Get them out, plate it/them, garnish it with a SMILE & pass it to the center of the table. Fun isn’t? Hold on,..... you think you are finished with just 1 plate? This is just the first course and there are too many to name. You are DINING at THE TABLE .....the HIGHEST of all tables!

Ding...ding...ding, second call is for the dish of OBEDIENCE. You are chuckling I’m sure....and so is GOD!! HE has you sitting right where HE wants you. Not sure what to serve to the table, let me help you out. GOD says, "Do this" You say,"That’s crazy, I want this, so therefore I’m doing it!' Plate that baby and serve it right up...fast n hot! Easier than you thought right? Want to make it SUPER EASY....just take YOU, YOUR wants, desires, etc, out the equation and ask GOD what HE wants of YOU! You really like me now don’t you? Are you having fun yet?

Serving dishes of our own short comings, stubbornness, pride, ego, defiance, & selfishness becomes quite the meal! Don’t let the overwhelming amount of plates on the table stop you from serving up more! Plate all those issues stored up inside you on dishes. Remember your desire is clarity and the end result is a clear pathway! The last dish is actually a platter....it’s beautiful bone China with gold inlay throughout it. It’s edges are marked by precious gems, starting with jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. What goes on this BEAUTIFUL platter? Remember you are AWESOME, FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE. You are going to ask GOD to show YOU on this platter any other areas within YOU that are broken, damaged, & bruised, therefore blocking YOU from HEARING HIS VOICE. This is a HUGE turning point in changing your lens from smudgy to crystal clear. Yield to the areas HE serves YOU on the platter. Personally, my platter was OVERFLOWING! Thank goodness for the fountain of living water(drink from it and you shall thirst no more) because just looking at my platter made me thirsty! One step at a time, one dish at a time, one bite at a time. Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you! HE is handing you a key to your life, one side opens doors with overgrown paths, storms, dirty lenses, the other side of the key opens doors to clear paths, bright light, peace, joy and a crystal clear lens to look through if you look to HIM FIRST. The real KEY here is look to HIM, THROUGH HIM, for CLARITY!
