Come and See
“Come and see” is a thread that runs through life of Jesus. Philip, an early follower, invited a skeptical Nathanial to “come and see” Jesus (John 1:46).?
Three years later, on that first Easter Sunday, two women went to the tomb at dawn and encountered an angel sitting on the stone he had just rolled back. The angel said to the women,
“Do not be afraid,?for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.?He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.?Come and see the place where he lay.?Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.?There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”?(Matthew 28:5-7)
The invitation to “come and see” Jesus is just as compelling today as it was two thousand years ago. Only now the message can be delivered to millions—if not billions—of people. Never before has it been possible to reach so many people with the life-changing story of the resurrected Christ. But never before has the story been told with such intimacy and authenticity as you will find in The Chosen.
