COME RAIN OR FLOOD

Hello Pal,

Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day!? Yep, the rains are back again, and I learned some people are ordering boats because of the flooding that comes with it.?

Okay, jokes apart, The rain this year is really intense and even areas that have never been flooded before have also been affected by the flood pandemic. I hope you have arrangements in place to protect your house and properties, even if it’s usually a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence.

She explained that no matter how hard she tried to stop it, the rain still managed to get into her house. On Saturday she told me she had to stay up all night because somehow the rain was entering the guest toilet downstairs and seeping into the parlour. That night, she “mop taya”.?

“What if you weren’t in?”, I asked her. That means all her property will be gone in seconds. “But you no fit pack” I reminded her, because unfortunately, Bimbo had paid two years rent ahead and had spent a lot on that house? “Mehn, I hope you have insurance oo” because these damages would cost you a fortune
