Come Be Part of Something Special

”The big don’t eat the small---the fast eat the slow.”

This is a saying I’ve heard paraphrased off and on over the course of my career, and it’s really stuck with me. There’s no doubt that in business — and especially in tech — you’ve got to adapt or get left behind. Disrupt or be disrupted. And our clients don’t just expect that we’ll be here to walk them through the rough spots like we witnessed in 2020 … They desperately need us to partner with them and deliver against their most pressing technology needs faster and more efficiently than ever before.  

That kind of speed is super-important in today’s technology landscape, and it’s one of our focus areas in 2021 at Insight. We know that to be client-obsessed, differentiated and strategic, we’ve got to meet our clients right where they are, with the right solutions and in record time. And what an opportunity! Our clients are rethinking their business strategies and rediscovering that after a year of starts and fits where technology investments were concerned, they’ve got to innovate to stay relevant.  

The great news is that Insight is well-positioned to meet these exact needs. Over the past several years, we’ve assembled the best and the brightest teammates across the most compelling technological capabilities that make solving our clients’ most complex problems not just a possibility, but a day-to-day reality. 

And we’re just getting started. We know that to stay well-positioned, we’ve got to keep investing in our teammates. For instance, this year, we’re growing! We’re looking to hire hundreds of sales executives who love connecting with clients and delivering differentiated value, who are eager to share Insight’s comprehensive, end-to-end solutions and who are ready to accelerate the momentum we’re creating to get our clients what they need, when they need it. 

This is such an exciting time to be part of Insight. While it’s true a lot has changed, we know there’s new opportunity in the wake of 2020. And our clients will be the beneficiaries. Here are a few of the most promising perspectives we’re considering as we gear up to go fast in 2021: 

  • The silver lining of the crisis we experienced last year is that it gets “everybody to rally in the same direction.” In a recent Chief Executive magazine article, “A Guide To Surviving And Thriving In Chaotic Times,” Insight CEO Ken Lamneck discussed the strategic imperative of going digital in a post-pandemic world. 
  • Businesses are ready to go digital. According to recent research from McKinsey & Company, COVID-19 has “speeded the adoption of digital technologies by several years — and many of these changes could be here for the long haul.”  
  • And last — we’re in the right industry at the right time! Technology is the lynchpin for progress, and Insight has the deep expertise and end-to-end capabilities to navigate businesses through this evolution. Take a look at our latest Tech Journal, “Bottoms up: Inverting 2020 challenges for a better beginning,” demonstrating how organizations came out stronger in response to the adversity and challenges of the last year.

It’s a new reality, and more businesses are looking to employ digital strategies and different ways technology can help them stay operational and keep growing in the face of change. And that’s where we come in.
