Entrepreneur, Fitness Guru David DeLorenzo Launches New Book, Announces Signing Event Nov. 1

PHOENIX (DATE) — Entrepreneur, wellness aficionado, author, coach and speaker David DeLorenzo, founder of Bar and Restaurant Insurance, has penned his newest book, “Just Getting Started: Reignite Your Spark”. On Friday, Nov. 1 from 4-7 p.m., DeLorenzo will host a book signing event at 435 Collective, located at 435 S. 3rd Ave. to celebrate the book’s release.

“’Just Getting Started’ is really a firsthand account of my path to reinvent and rediscover myself as I was approaching turning 50,” said DeLorenzo, who has had a lifelong journey and admitted ongoing struggles with health and addiction, including overconsumption of both food and alcohol. “I worked with experts to help me get back on track and in this book, I share the tools I learned from them as well as my own insights and methods.”

10 years sober, DeLorenzo realized as his 50th birthday approached that he needed to reevaluate his life and reenergize himself. Determined to reignite his own spark from within, he set new goals and challenges himself to reignite his strength from within. Through this journey, he was inspired to document his progress in an effort to help others reconnect with their best selves as they age, or at any stage in life. “Just Getting Started: Reignite Your Spark” is the result of this inspiration.

DeLorenzo still considers himself a work in progress—and a project that he continues to dedicate himself to. Through the process of reigniting his own spark, DeLorenzo rediscovered the importance of crafting his ideal schedule, self-care and personal health, staying agile and athletic and the role of mentorship and coaching, all of which became chapters in his new tome.

Other important topics covered in the book include the power of solitude, cultivating interests outside of work, the importance of rest and reflection, conscious eating and dining, the therapeutic nature of journaling and building respectful relationships. Within the pages, DeLorenzo advises readers on how they can leverage their own life experiences to better themselves and even touches on the profound impact of pet companionship.

On Friday, Nov. 1, the book-signing event begins with a social cocktail hour from 4-5 p.m. and then grazing and mingling takes place from 5-6 p.m. At 6 p.m., DeLorenzo will give a brief speech. The book signing will promptly follow until 7 p.m.

DeLorenzo has decades of experience in the insurance field. He created his own niche to serve the bar and restaurant industry. On a personal scale, DeLorenzo has overcome multiple personal health struggles through his own individualized approach to daily wellbeing.
