Colours, Shapes, and Symbols:? The design of the future

After successfully rebranding, My Equation is going stronger than ever, especially with the launch of our latest ROBOPACK workshop. This is the product of every member of the ME Team working tirelessly to achieve this goal. But looking back, our ingenious new logo played a major part in My Equation’s success. After all, the logo gives a company its entire identity.

At its core, the ME logo is a Sigma symbol. Sigma (Σ) is a mathematical symbol used to denote the summation of everything. This really resonated with us because, through My Equation, we built a platform to provide everything an engineer needs to propel their career to its maximum potential. With technical training, career guidance, and placement coaching, My Equation is a one-stop solution for core engineers, and Sigma incorporated these values perfectly into our logo.

Further, through very careful and inventive design, the Sigma symbol is broken into ‘M’ and ‘E’, the initials of ‘My Equation’. Sigma and ME really were a match made in heaven! The next step was choosing a colour scheme that reflected our values and personality appropriately. We went with Blue and Yellow as the main company colours. Blue represents Wisdom, knowledge, and Trust, which are the foundations of our relationship with our mentees. While yellow signifies Optimism, creativity, and Energy, which is the approach we take with everything we do.

Somehow, we found the perfect logo for our company, flawlessly representing everything My Equation stands for through a simple, straightforward image. With this new logo and a fresh, renewed enthusiasm, we’re bringing a great deal more to the learners at ME—some old and a lot of new, exciting content.
