Colour Coordinated Giraffe Butt ?? (Who, Me?)

Dear reader, the first story that must be told is that of the ￡600 phone whose camera turned out to be much worse than its predecessor phone which sold on for ￡50.

The second story is that of the original bling: water.

I prefer the second story, by far.

I am not a nerd of jewels or anything like that. But do pearls and diamonds have much on water? This is the stunning tea rose that previously featured, shown in beaming sunlight, this time under slightly different conditions because (have you heard?) the UK doesn't do summer anymore.

As for my photography woes, my much-loved macros are visibly blurry compared to my old phone. Honestly, it's probably why I have had this gap in newsletters.

Baby snails, though, am I right? ?? I loved finding this gathering of mixed size snails. It was an unusual setting, activity and configuration to my usual lone snail snacking on a leaf, or going to the post office.

It can't be denied, time has passed. And the "summer" situation, together with the "no-way-is-this-spider-eyes-camera-worse" situation, resulted in the previous portfolio of beaming stars and popping colours shrinking into reels of grey and blurry patches of floppy disappointment.

But because more time has passed, more things have happened. I love logic.

You may be aware that I've had a bit of drama back-and-forthing as an EU citizen with dual citizenship and incongruent IDs (Reuters). It was a very big deal for me to travel back following the publication of the legal action. I may circle back to this, but for now suffice it so say summer was still on the menu.

Home is simply the latest park where any maple tree has nothing to say about all people's troubles.

And sometimes also a giraffe butt that's colour coordinated with the train station at night.
