Colorizing Photo

I was on Instagram when I came across the picture of Laurel and Hardy facing the Royal Marine Hotel probably when there was no color photograph yet.

In the old days, some people paid artists who used paint and crayon to color their photos by hand. It was an expensive process and not very accessible to most people.

So I wondered what this color photo would look like and decided to make my version in Adobe Photoshop.

It's a bit of a work process, but actually, it's a simple technique.
