The Color Combination lady

For the sake of anonymity, let me call her Pantone
This attractive lady comes to me for styling session
It was difficult to pin point where her attraction lie
Her hair, eyes, lips, where?
It was so there, and yet so hidden
I normally do not take so long to figure out a face’s virtue

I bought time by indulging in the routine conversation
The “getting to know you” chat

I requested her to wash her face and remove her make-up, all of it
And there it was !
Her naturally tanned complexion
Rosy cheeks
Golden-hazel eyes
Brown soft hair
Rich red lips
A combination of rich complimentary colours

My suggestion to her: Stay Basic
She had it all
Her make-up was a mask which was concealing her “true colours"
And of course, I recommended she wear spice colors
To enhance her face even more

Her feedback: "Initially everyone thought I forgot to put my make-up
Now I get compliments for my skin and my eyes
I feel younger and a natural"

The purpose of make-up is to bring out, not suppress
And sometimes, no make-up does the job !
