Colliers Welcomes Kevin Coyne as Brokerage Associate in Maine

Colliers, a global leader in commercial real estate services, is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin M. Coyne as a Brokerage Associate in its Portland, Maine office. With over two decades of experience in commercial real estate finance and investment, Kevin brings deep expertise in industrial, land development, office, multifamily, retail, and investment properties.

Before joining Colliers, Kevin served as Vice President of Commercial Lending at a local community bank, where he managed the institution’s largest real estate portfolio across Southern Maine and the Seacoast of New Hampshire. His background in credit, portfolio management, commercial lending, and capital markets positions him as a trusted advisor for clients seeking strategic real estate solutions.

Kevin’s extensive experience includes guiding clients through initial underwriting and structuring tailored capital solutions, including permanent loans, agency debt, construction financing, and bridge loans. Since 2010, he has also been actively managing his family’s real estate holdings, further enhancing his firsthand knowledge of ownership and operational challenges.

A Portland native, Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Maine and dual master’s degrees—an MBA and a Master of Science in Real Estate—from American University’s Kogod School of Business in Washington, DC. He is an active member of industry organizations such as the Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA), the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Kevin is also dedicated to community involvement, serving on the Steering Committee for PSL Strive, as a Southern Maine Landlord Association member, a United Way of Greater Portland volunteer, and a Conference Committee Member for MEREDA.

Outside of work, Kevin is an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoys life in Portland’s Back Cove neighborhood with his golden retriever, Donahue, also known as "Donny Boy."
