Every quarter at UK Finance we run our colleague awards. This month we held our latest awards recognising those who have gone above and beyond and consistently contribute to our culture and values.??

Team award?

A lot of the time our success is not down to one person, but rather a team of individuals working collectively to support others or to complete a project. We have introduced a new award that recognises the teamwork of colleagues and demonstrates excellence, collaboration, and innovation.??

Our winners are our Facilities Team who have supported colleagues through many twists and turns to UK Finance office life, such as a pandemic, office refit and our high-profile events and member meetings. The Facilities team consistently show kindness and live out the UK Finance values.??

Collaboration award?

In this category, we look at nominees who show an unwavering commitment to working with others to reach common goals that benefits everyone. This individual will regularly share information, support colleagues and be inclusive by embracing differences between people.?

Congratulations to Nala Worsfold who won this award.

“Nala constantly works across teams to share her wealth of knowledge both internally and to our members. She works collaboratively supporting areas such as sustainability and has been a vital support to the Network Communities team by advising on content and chairing sessions with our Chief Financial Officers, Chief Risk Officers and Heads of Regulatory Reporting members. She dedicates her time to the personal development of other colleagues. Just one example would be the regular hour-long informal learning sessions she has run with more junior colleagues to teach them about any prudential or banking related topics they would like a better understanding of.”??
