Collaborative Breaktaking for Hybrid Work

Give, Play, Meet.

Breakthru is a collaborative breaktaking tool built natively on Microsoft Teams, designed for team use. We’re here to help you introduce microbreaks into your team’s workday.

Time can march. Or be bendable.

We all know this. From moments when time stops when we play with a child, to the slow feel of a summer afternoon, to the exhilarating focus of a moment in sports. Time can stop. Slow down. Stretch.

We built Breakthru based on two keen insights. Moments of movement, and moments of beauty for beauty’s sake, were things most of us were missing in our workdays. They are also two excellent things for slowing or bending time.

Movement is good for wellbeing. Art is good for wellbeing. Why? Both things gather us into the moment, focus us, awaken our senses, return a sense of play and joy.

From the time we are little, and we walk between classes, we move to indicate transition. To clear our head, to get ready for the next. To arrive. And frequently we do this together. Together we help each other level set, clear the air, make some energy, start again.

Thinking happens at a moving pace. That is why walking is so generative, so fruitful. Our brain needs time to muse, moments of soft fascination. Moments of awe, both giving way to make room for just the right kind of creative attention.

Time management, productivity management: we are not machines. As we step towards hybrid work, and collaboration in that setting, let's learn together how to bend time so that it works for us as a team. Let’s leave interstitial spaces, let's fill them with healthy breaks, let's leave room for thinking.

Breakthru is a wellbeing tool designed for teams on Microsoft Teams. Movement driven microbreaks for the work and school day.

Microsoft research says our brain needs breaks. Breakthru is here to say: your body is the key to delivering them.

The benefits of moments of motion in your day are both instant, and grow with practice.

Learning new movements for your body increases cognitive flexibility in your brain. This impacts our ability to produce a steady flow of creative thoughts.
