Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way marketers approach our work.? When people often talk about AI, the conversation centers around all the things AI could do to replace marketers, not ways to HELP marketers.?And, let's be honest, who couldn't use a little help?
Today, more and more marketers recognize AI’s ability to complement what marketers do, not as a replacement for them, and they (uh, we) are much less likely to view AI as a threat.? The sentiment is definitely changing. A reported 91% of marketers are already using AI in their jobs, while 69% see AI as creating job opportunities.? And, nearly half of the respondents surveyed are drawn to AI because it will help them work more efficiently and they believe AI will increase their skills and make their work more accurate*.
With the ability to analyze large amounts of data and make predictions, AI can help marketers better understand their customers and create more effective marketing campaigns.? Here are some use cases where AI has been applied successfully:
1.???? Personalization: Companies like Amazon and Netflix use AI to analyze customer data and provide personalized recommendations for products and content. This has led to increased customer engagement and loyalty.
2.???? Predictive Analytics: Companies like Google and Facebook use AI to analyze data and predict customer behavior. This helps them to optimize their ad targeting and improve the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns.
3.???? Chatbots: Many companies use AI-powered chatbots to provide instant customer support and assistance. This improves the customer experience and can lead to increased sales and customer loyalty.

This is a topic that I’ve wrestled with for a while and the facts outweigh my feelings on the matter.? Much like any other tool, when used properly, strategically, and responsibly, AI can definitely be considered a friend.? I won’t go so far as to call it a business bestie just yet, because there’s so much more to learn but I think we can all agree that accessing AI is becoming more and more convenient.?
