Cold Lumpy Mash
At some point in your life, you've probably had cold lumpy mash, or something equally as disgusting, and it's certainly not something you'd expect to be served when you've ordered a creamy Pomme Purée in a Parisian restaurant. Well, that's exactly what happened last weekend :( Thankfully, after some polite yet choice words with the manager, the bottle of Sancerre we had was taken off the bill.
If the food, service and ambiance have met your expectations you don't mind paying more, but have a shitty experience, and when that fancy restaurant bill lands on your table it just makes the blood boil.

And rest assured, when the invoice goes in I can sleep at night knowing we've delivered above and beyond their expectations and I won't have to send them a bottle of Sancerre to sweeten them up.
