On August 24, 2021, Cogsdale Corporation opened its Collaboration & Innovation Centre (CIC) as part of its commitment to innovation and providing a dynamic hybrid workspace for its employees in Prince Edward Island (PEI). The centre will be Cogsdale’s new headquarters, consisting of 1800 sq. ft. of space on Charlottetown waterfront at Peakes Quay.
Cogsdale has been a valuable addition to PEI’s economy since 1997. The opening of the new Collaboration & Innovation Centre signifies Cogsdale’s commitment to community-building and new pathways to innovation locally and beyond

Cogsdale Corporation has been part of PEI’s economic fabric for nearly a quarter century. With this new centre, the company is looking to provide an open environment that sparks innovation and creativity within its employees in a space that they can feel safe and is compliant with provincial and municipal social distancing guidelines. While employees will remain on a permanent work-from-home basis, the centre offers the flexibility to drop-in for collaboration and teamwork. In addition, to providing hoteling options and being the perfect meeting space for visiting customers and executives from its parent company, Harris Computer.

Cogsdale has been providing stable employment opportunities for islanders for many years since opening our doors in 1997. Forty-five per cent of its employees are in PEI with several others throughout the Maritime provinces. With its long-standing relationship on the island, Cogsdale also holds strong connections with local post-secondary schools such as Holland College and University of PEI in providing crucial on the job and co-op work experiences.

The opening of this centre marks the beginning of Cogsdale's new hybrid work model for PEI employees. With the relocation of our physical space from uptown to downtown, our employees can now take advantage of the many fantastic amenities the City of Charlottetown and local businesses have to offer.?
