The inspiration for this (fictitious) project came from the last few books I read; Origin by Dan Brown, Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell, and The Beach by Alex Garland.?All vastly different books, but with the common theme that the obvious path may not always lead to the expected destination and the road ahead is often paved with interesting possibilities. Imagining the potential breakthroughs at the human-machine interface has been a longstanding topic of both science fiction and extraordinary innovation.?Especially in the context of the last two years, as our society becomes more cybernetic and digital/physical convergence becomes closer to reality on a broad scale, the positive technical achievements become more in focus, as well as human characteristics such as vanity, personality, individuality, and mortality come into play.
