Coffee With Ukraine... Update

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to share where we are at with Coffee With Ukraine!

First... We changed the name because of website domain issues and went with Coffee With Ukraine. Olga registered the name as a dot.com and now we will sit down with our web-designer and get going. ??

I completed the "About US" Draft and will include it on the end and the translation in Ukraine as well.

We decided that we need a legal and "Ukraine-centric" organization that will receive and distribute funds for different causes. Our next step is to find a lawyer to assist us with the creation of two kinds of business entities. One is a non-profit organization that is receiving funds on a regular basis. The other is a E-Store that will be run like other E-Stores with the exception that we take the profits and put it towards causes and projects that inspire those who are managing that E-Store. This E-Store can create jobs, help with promotion of Ukraine in general as well as raise money and awareness for ongoing projects.

I think I just came close to becoming another banned member of LinkedIn because of posting pro-Ukraine material? I am now really motivated to launching this private site as soon as possible.

I am also ready to relaunch our Biz-Latvia E-Magazine that has a special section for Ukraine. I think is it great that many of us are posting to raise awareness. I also think it makes sense to start posting in a place where we are free to post what we choose without the risk of getting banned.

In order to run the E-Magazine we need volunteers to work on cyber security and manage a mirrored back-up site when it does get attacked and crashes. Attacks will happen and it will crash. If we just have a small team on cybersecurity and we flip flop between two identical copies of the same site we can keep it up and running with very little down time.

We are now looking for VOLUNTEERS! Please contact me if you want to participate in the creation of Coffee With Ukraine, The E-Store or getting our E-Magazine back on track.

Below is my current draft for the "About Us" section... please read and give constructive feedback. I also used Google Translate and am looking for assistance with correct translation.

Simply put, Coffee for Ukraine is for people who want to learn more about Ukraine and what is really going on.?More importantly its about learning what positive things we can do about it.?

We are all aware of the horrific events that are happening in Ukraine.?However as soon as you talk to a few people from Ukraine and compare what is being told on the news and social media...?one is profoundly aware that we are not getting the facts.?People do care!?And people want to do something more about it.?When we attempt to reach out and make a difference we are faced with the lack of organization and many find ourselves disempowered.

Coffee for Ukraine is a door way for those who want to meet others interested in the future of Ukraine.?We are proactively building networks so we can find each other. We decided to invite others on the internet for...?a cup of coffee and a proactive conversation.?

The idea is as simple as it is sublime.?If many people get together and all make a small contribution then a very big difference can be made.?For the price of a cup of coffee at a café you can make a difference just by showing up!?

When you do decide to join us for a virtural cup of coffee you will meet others who are working on projects to assist Ukraine.?There are a lot of wonderful people doing great things for Ukraine.?We would love to share with you what we are up to.

There are also a great many people who want to do more but just don't know how, or even who to talk to.?We are developing structures so you can come, chat with us and let us know what you are interested in and we will help you get in touch with the people who... not only want to meet you.... but actually need people just like you.?

Divided we fall....?but TOGETHER we can, and will make a difference!

Також ? багато людей, як? хочуть зробити б?льше, але просто не знають, як ? нав?ть з ким поговорити. Ми розробля?мо структуру, щоб ви могли прийти, посп?лкуватися з нами та пов?домити нам, що вас ц?кавить, ? ми допоможемо вам налагодити сп?лкування з людьми, як? не лише хочуть зустр?тися з вами, але й справд? потребують таких же людей, як ви.
