Coffee Prices on the Rise

If you’re among the 73% of Americans who drink coffee daily, you’ve probably noticed your morning brew is pricier than it used to be. Coffee prices have surged to their highest levels since 1977.

Supply chain disruptions and weather issues in major coffee-producing countries play a role. New European Union regulations aimed at preventing deforestation are also reshaping how coffee is traded globally. Starting December 30, 2024, these changes began to affect every aspect of coffee production. And all that adds to the cost of every cup.
