I just paid $2 for a cup of coffee. An actual cup of coffee. In a real cup. As I marveled at the notion, as it seemed rather rare to have a nice, low, even, simple, number for a cup of coffee, I said out load to no one. “Why can’t life, business and relationships be as clean as a two dollar transaction?” The 23 year old barrista said, "It's complicated."
