Coding: The New Age VS The Old Age

Coding: The New Age VS The Old Age

It is widely stated that the only thing that is constant in life is that things change. So much has changed in the previous century that it's difficult to keep up with the changes. The technological sector is a prime illustration of this.

John Backus created the first high-level programming language (software) known as FORTRAN (or formula translation) in 1954. Fortran is already more than forty years old and is still the most popular language for scientific and industrial programming—of course, it is regularly upgraded.

Coding and programming software has changed and evolved dramatically in the last 40 years. We now have technologies like python, JavaScript, Roblox, and many others that can create things we don't even completely comprehend.

Coding now enables humans to communicate with nearly all devices. Internal coding systems are used in modern technology, such as traffic lights, calculators, smart TVs, and automobiles.

In contrast to hardware, the essential feature of software is change. This rapid shift affects technology, the ecosystem, the way we work, and the coding community's expectations from society.

To describe the coding profession, as a profession of change is not an exaggeration.
