A codebook for learning German: Four aspects of the German language you will learn in my course...

You all know I love to do after-program interviews with my students. It never ceases to amaze me how insightful all of you can be!

Even though all students’ experiences are very similar in terms of hopes and results, there is always something new for me to hear from you. So, when a few months back I asked a very successful student of mine, Reddy, to describe the Lightspeed German Learning program in just one sentence, he gave me one of the best definitions of my program.

He said that this is a complete intense course that makes sure you learned every aspect of the language!

Honestly, I couldn’t agree more. We do learn German very strategically, covering all of the bases and making sure you learn this language the proper, easy, and fast way, and to keep learning when you successfully complete the program.

That’s why my program is like a codebook for learning German, and those four aspects are like chapters in the codebook – every chapter gives you the key to unlock one aspect of the German language.

So, what are those aspects of the German language and how do we strategically learn?

The first aspect is vocabulary.

We learn new words, but we don’t use the old-fashioned way of learning by the book. There is no way that you can remember the majority of the words in a foreign language. And even if there was, there is no way that you will need all of those words in your work and private life.

You will learn the words you need to use every day because you will choose the topics that interest you and are important to you. So, there will be no more learning words you will never use – you will be learning a specific, personalized part of the German vocabulary that you will use days in and days out.

The best part about this aspect is that you will get instructions on how to keep upgrading your vocabulary all the time.

The second aspect is sentence structuring.

This is the part that has shown to be pretty problematic for all of my students. If you’ve been in a situation where you know all the words for a sentence you want to say, but still can’t make a sentence, you know what I am talking about.

Building a correct sentence is not just about the words – verbs and nouns and their combination by the grammar rules. It’s about the structure for a specific context. Making a sentence without a context would be like delivering sad news in a humorous tone – it would make confusion and misunderstanding.

That is why Lightspeed German Learning will teach you how to easily articulate your thoughts so that the sentence you make is adjusted to the context, and you are understood.

The third chapter of our codebook is certainly pronunciation.

The biggest issue with this language for my students is always pronunciation. Learning the words from a dictionary and always writing your homework is great, but if there is no practice in speaking the language, you will never be confident in talking to people. Most of my students really struggled with this part before starting my Lightspeed German Learning program.

I and my colleagues are focused on making our students talk German in every class, even if they are shy or timid. The reason is not to torture them and make them uncomfortable. The reason is to set them free and get rid of the fear of speaking, but also – to practice pronunciation. No matter how many words you learn, if you can’t pronounce them properly, you are not ready to have a conversation.

The fourth aspect of the German language you will learn is grammar.

Don’t get scared just yet – there is no need. My program uses a grammar learning system never seen before. Grammar lessons are less about learning the rules and memorizing them, and more about easy explanations, that will allow you to apply the grammar rules in any speaking situation.

Learning grammar by heart is never a good idea, but if you do it by my codebook, you will know how to apply those rules depending on the sentence and context.

Those four chapters are the essence of my codebook. If you wonder how this codebook works, the answer may surprise you. You will not be learning chapter by chapter, one aspect at a time. From the beginning, you will be using all four chapters simultaneously, cracking the code of the German language.

And cracking a code is easy when you have a codebook, right?
