Cobb Recognizes Extraordinary Performance; Presents Cobb Pacific 450 Award to Rooster Poultry

Cobb-Vantress, LLC.: Cobb-Vantress awarded Rooster Poultry the Cobb Pacific 450 Award at the Poultry Information Exchange (PIX) in Gold Coast, Australia to recognize top broiler performance. The prized flock reached peak performance at the Fijian company with 67,540 Cobb chicks achieving a livability percentage of 97.07% at 33.06 days. The flock achieved an average bodyweight of 2310 grams at harvest and a feed conversion rate of 1.49, which translates into a European Production Efficiency Factor (EPEF) of 457.

“Cobb is elated about the extraordinary performance of the Rooster Poultry flock,” said Pelayo Casanovas, vice president of operations at Cobb. “This level of performance shows a lot of attention from a management standpoint. We’d like to thank our distributor Bromley Park, for consistently providing high-quality Cobb breeding stocks to the Pacific region.”

The Cobb Pacific 450 Award is designed to recognize the best broiler performance among Cobb customers in the South Pacific region, which consists of 14 countries including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
