Turner & Townsend's Coast and Castles 320 km challenge (#CnC2018)

Turner & Townsend's Coast and Castles 320 km challenge (#CnC2018)

On the sixth day of July, a group of brave souls from Turner & Townsend's Nottingham office will be embarking on the ambitious "Coast and Castles" cycle challenge, running 320 kilometres from Newcastle's Tyne bridge finishing three days later in the city of Edinburgh.

Eleven members of the office will be completing this impressive physical challenge, in the hopes of raising money for an extremely worthwhile local charity, Rainbows.

Based in the East Midlands, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People are the organisation who provide this much needed care and brighten the short lives of the children who just don’t live long enough. Our aim is to raise £3,000 to support their work.

Rainbows: Making the difference

Sadly, some children simply don’t live long enough. Since 1994 we’ve opened our doors and hearts to those children and the people who love them most. And now more than ever, we need your help to keep on bringing care and happiness to our children and families. As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, Rainbows is a place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. Our incredible team of people help relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.

How you can help.....

We have just launched the Just Giving page and should you be able to donate and make those miles in the saddle count, we would be grateful of your support. All funds raised will go directly to the charity.
