Coalition for Audience Measurement expands and adopts Second Position Statement on Proposed ePrivacy Regulation
Coalition renews calls for an enabling environment for audience measurement conducted on behalf of the digital economy
ESOMAR, together with AGOF, CESP, EBU, EFAMRO, egta, Febelmar, MLE, MOA, News Media Europe, Syntec Etudes, and WAN-IFRA have expanded a Coalition for Audience Measurement established in June 2017 to support legislators considering adopting a proposed ePrivacy Regulation.
The Coalition comprises key stakeholders involved in the audience measurement ecosystem supporting the measurement of the state of the digital economy.
The expanded Coalition has adopted a new position statement welcoming the European Council of Ministers' Presidency draft where considerable progress has been made to enable audience measurement to flourish in the European Union and serve its societal role in creating trusted indicators of the health of Europe's digital economy as well as its reach.
