HITRUST Updates: A Glimpse into the Future?

One of the standout moments of HITRUST Collaborate was the unveiling of the roadmap for HITRUST versions in the coming years. Here’s what is on the horizon:?

• HITRUST v11.2 (Release Date: 10/10/23): The next iteration of HITRUST is here!?
• HITRUST v11.3 (Expected in Early 2024): We can look forward to another update early next year, ensuring that HITRUST remains relevant and aligned with evolving industry needs and even more authoritative sources.?
• HITRUST v9.5 through v9.62: Creating new objects will be disabled 6/30/24, and the ability to submit objects for processing will be disabled 4/30/25.?
• HITRUST Version 12 (Scheduled for 2025): This significant release will introduce Domains 20 and 21, further expanding the scope and capabilities of HITRUST in Privacy.?

In addition to these updates, other hot topics included StateRAMP, FedRAMP, and the new Compliance Insight Reports- with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) as the first report being offered, which is now available with v11.2.??
