1. Aspiring Psychology BOSS (Business Owner Support Squad) Coaching Group - May 2024

Do you have more referrals than you can manage? Have you wondered if it would be profitable to recruit Associates, but not sure where or how to start? If personalised business coaching is out of budget, I’m starting an affordable monthly coaching drop-in group for up to 5 Aspiring Psychology BOSSes per session.

THE FIRST GROUP YOU ATTEND IS FREE FOR EVERYONE!

At Lifespan Psychology - The Diverse Practice? - I’ve managed a successful international team of between 3-20 Associates since 2019. We’ve won two awards and have been nominated twice and await the Prestige Award 2024/5 result!

As with any business venture, there are highs, low, opportunities and challenges that I wish I had guidance on from the beginning. The Associate model is a game of snakes and ladders without the right configuration and sums.

This monthly coaching group will be £60 per 1-hour session per psychologist, facilitated by me with topics and themes generated by you.

Topics of interest from group discussions are likely to cover:

  • Associate Business Models
  • Recruiting and Retaining Associates
  • Working with Insurers and Third Parties
  • Fees and Percentages
  • Accounting and Finance / Profit & Loss
  • Supervision, Risk and Safeguarding
  • Clinical Responsibility and Insurance
  • Developing (Specialist) Services

2. Mission Statement

This is a coaching group for aspiring psychology business owners who have 0-2 Associates and would like to start their own firm. This is a safe space to discuss the highs and lows, opportunities and challenges, and potential areas for growth, development and collaboration, and learn from one another and the facilitator.

Aspiring Psychology BOSS a mutually supportive space to build alliances and to share successes and positive practices. All views, differences and perspectives are supported in a non-judgmental and confidential forum.

Please express your interest in joining the coaching group for Aspiring Psychology BOSSes by emailing Dr Esther Cole at [email protected]

3. Back in the Office!

After 4 years, I’m finally moving into clinic space again. My 'baby' is four in May, so the time has finally come where all three children will be school age! Post-COVID time has flown! Here is the space in Kensington , near Earls Court station. It provides a great therapeutic community and I felt right at home as soon as I walked in.?

Feel free to send referrals to us for a generous finder's fee!

4. Referrals

We offer a generous Finder's Fee of £40 for each client that completes their second therapy session with Lifespan Psychology Ltd.

If you are overflowing with referrals or have an influx of requests beyond your specialism, we are happy to help place them within our award-winning team.

See our Team page here , to get a feel for their interests and specialist training. Please fill out our referral form via the link below, and we will be in touch at the end of each month to confirm if any of your referrals have begun therapy with us.

5. Diverse Practice Discussion Group

In line with increasing our scope for thinking creatively and in attunement with different races, cultures, faiths, and taking a more intersectional stance, we welcome everyone to come to the Diverse Practice Discussion Group.

Please contact me to express an interest in attending a diverse practice case discussion group. We are hoping to run these every 2 months with the Lifespan Psychology team.

Express your interest by emailing [email protected]

6. Workshops

?Our Associate Nick Shallow, Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, is running a 10-week 30-minute online mental health gym workshop on 'Healing from Grief, Bereavement and Loss' on Fridays at 2pm. These are designed as drop-ins, so participants can attend as many sessions as they like.

These are challenges we all experience at some points in our lives, to differing degrees and in varying circumstances. Grief, bereavement and loss are all part of the human condition. These sessions are for people interested in understanding more, whether it be for themselves or someone they know.

Nick is also running another workshop on 'Diffusing Anger' on Thursdays at 6:30pm.

Anger is an emotional state that can receive a lot of judgment from ourselves and from other people. It might be an unpleasant emotion to experience, perhaps culturally discouraged, but we do need anger. Raaaa! It’s an important tool which we can learn to exercise in a kind, healthy and productive way as it can help inform and protect. These sessions will look at identifying and defining anger; bodily sensations around anger; challenging anger and negative thoughts; being assertive, not aggressive; alongside informative techniques to use as helpful takeaways.

The classes are £10 and can be booked through the link below.

Refer your clients, friends and family who may be struggling with these challenges and let us know your thoughts. We always welcome feedback after sessions.
